Responsibilities:
Protect the excellent guest experience we deliver at Westbound & Down Lead the team in Line Cooking knowledge Assist in training new line cooks Maintain cultural standards in workforce Support all elements of service making sure all members of team are set up for success Maintain the highest food quality standards Execute Chef Team's food menu to the highest level of quality Keep the kitchen line clean by assisting in daily, weekly and monthly duties Help maintain labor goals by keeping staff streamlined Open to scheduling adjustments Other duties as assigned by Chef & Sous Chef Skills:
Solid understanding of temperatures for proteins Proper holding/ cooling temperatures & methods Understand functions of gas/ electrical equipment Knowledge regarding sanitization and cross contamination Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery Flexibility to adjust to new or unexpected scenarios Ability to work well with others Schedule:
